Have you ever experienced this: you went to the airport, got through security and all the shenanigans, boarded the flight, fastened your seatbelt even, but the airplane never moves? You feel ready to conquer the skies, but the situations just don’t align! You’re not alone. The truth is, soaring is possible, but you need to know some ground rules before you take off.
Rule 1: Only one carry bag is allowed. Do you ever see Usain Bolt running the race with a backpack and earphones and a cap? No right! He wears the lightest of clothings possible. So, let go of the things that hold you down, only then can you look forward to what God has in store for you.
Rule 2: Jump out in boldness. When a mother bird teaches its children to fly, it urges them to jump out of the nest. If you want to soar, you’re will have to leap out in faith and make that bold jump. It’s scary, but you can do it.
When you leap out in faith, rooted in God, there is nothing that can hold you down.
Rule 3: Start dreaming again. To dream, means to have a vision. To have a vision means to have a future. If we don’t dream, we lose sight of where we are headed. So, dream big, but have habits that support that big dream.
If your habits don’t line up with your dream, then you need to either change your habits or change your dream. -- John.C.Maxwell
