Eagles, often considered as a symbol of courage, are unlike any other bird. There’s a reason people don’t keep them as pets, because they were never meant to be caged. Eagles are meant to soar and there is a lot we can learn from them. So, what are we waiting for? Let’s get started with the SOARING lessons!
Lesson 1: Eagles have vision. An eagle’s eyes are 4 to 8 times stronger than a human's. When uncertainty surrounds us, having a clear vision is extremely difficult. But, the key to cracking uncertainty is having hope. Start with small goals.
If you can have hope in God for the small visions in your life you can conquer the big ones as well.
Lesson 2: Eagles are fearless. Along with antibodies, Covid has filled us with ‘n’ number of fears. Fear of leaving our houses, fear of meeting people…But, you CAN soar above those fears. I, in no way mean to disregard Covid protocol and have a house party. But, instead of allowing those fears to control you, have faith in God for a normal, better and safer world.
Lesson 3: Eagles are strong. No matter how fierce the wind, eagles can swiftly pass it. The next wave that comes into your life; wave of anxiety, wave of stress, or wave of fear, imitate the eagle. Soar above those waves with courage and strength rooted in God.
Be ready, not for a season of lockdown but, for a season to SOAR!
“For even young people tire and drop out, young folk in their prime stumble and fall. But those who wait upon God get fresh strength. They spread their wings and soar like eagles, they run and don’t get tired, they walk and don’t lag behind.” - The Holy Bible (MSG) You have fresh strength today!
